Annual gifts and endowments to the Presidential Leadership Academy can support scholarships and grants that allow Academy members to pursue such leadership development opportunities as internships, summer research, and global study. This private support supplements the program's $5 million endowment which funds the operational costs associated with the courses and field trips offered annually to the Academy's 90 student members.
The endowment was established with the Academy's founding in 2009 through a gift from alumni Edward R. and Helen S. Hintz.
